Why No Diet Works?

There are millions of diets and weight loss plans, and all of them promise to give you the slim healthy body you so desire. The truth is that no diet plan works. Most of them do work for a short while, and then they simply stop working for you. This is because these diets are impractical. I do not mean to say that all of them are scams. Some of them are good plans, but they may require you to eat in a certain way; and your body, since it is unused to this regimen, may not be able to cope with the diet. This is the main reason diets do not work.

You may be trying diet pills, or you may have chosen an apple cider vinegar diet, a raw food diet or an all fruit diet. Since these diets are not balanced and do not give your body all the food it needs and wants, they will fail, and you will rebound back to a high fat diet which will soon have you regaining the pounds you had lost initially and you may end up gaining some more. This is the prime cause that no diet works, for a long time.

There is no diet that comes on the market as a long term solution to weight loss. They are designed to make you lose weight fast and for a short period. Suppose you have a party to attend and your want to get into a dress that is a size smaller than you are, the diet is an excellent solution. However, if you want permanent weight loss, you need to look around for a better solution.

If a diet is asking you to eat just one food or live on one food group, it is bound to fail. This is unnatural. The body craves for balance and natural food. The moment you stop being on the diet and start eating natural food, all the weight will come back. No diet that restricts you to one food can ever work.

The best way to lose weight naturally is to stick to a gradual step by step progress at eating smaller portions and eating balanced meals. Diets normally leave you feeling hungry and weak. They make you feel miserable and make you crave for the food you have been deprived. This is why no diet works.

There are websites that teaches you how to lose weight naturally, using no diet and no gym. It will give you a plan that will help you achieve permanent weight loss in a stress free and natural way.

Control Your Weight With the No-Diet Method

By implementing reasonable diet meal plan and practicing food portion management, you can eat healthy foods in order for you to absorb those much-needed calories since you have to keep your health at your desired weight. Usually, losing weight fast happens automatically just when you begin making excellent food selections like avoiding processed foods, fatty foods, foods loaded with sugar, alcoholic beverages and pasta and white bread (instead, replace them with whole-grain varieties). These are just some of the things on how to lose weight fast and easy.

Although nothing, in terms of diet meal plan, is totally prohibited, but in case you do give in to the temptation, maintain the serving size small and increase your regular exercise routine.

By substituting some ill-advised food selections with nutritious ones, you will be reducing your calorie intake and by incorporating a fair amount of physical activity, then you have the ideal weight loss method without resorting to special or difficult and frequently high-priced diet meal plan.

If you notice that you are slowly increasing in weight and your calorie intake is more than what you are burning, particularly if you have an inactive work, then it is time to start and lose some of that excess weight. You can achieve your ideal weight by:

Not consuming a huge glass of sugar-laden iced tea. This diet food plan will cut back about 200 calories.

Replacing soft drinks with mineral water when having lunch or snacks will reduce your consumption of calories by 150. This is considered to be one of the most effective and healthy diet plans.
Giving up your morning muffin can reduce about 250 or more calories as well.

Next, you can incorporate some physical activities like:

Waking up earlier than usual and taking a walk for 20 minutes in the morning and another 10 minutes in the afternoon. This is equivalent to 30 minutes of walk everyday, which can burn approximately 200 calories. You can then do a 1 hour walk during weekends or two 30-minute walk and another 1 hour of gardening the following day for an even better calorie burning.

Swimming or biking after work for 2 days a week can burn up to 250 calories.

By reducing your food consumption and doing some moderate workout, you can easily lose that excess weight without going into extreme food deprivation or denial. In addition, since the changes in your lifestyle and diet meal plan are minor and gradual, you will have no problem in maintaining it.

No Diet Wins Weight Loss Race

Sometimes I come across articles about weight loss that are so terrific I feel compelled to share them with everyone I know. Below is a fantastic one that appeared in our local Baton Rouge newspaper, The Advocate, on Feb. 26th, 2009 but bears reprinting. Once you read the headline, you'll see what I mean.

Study: No Diet Wins Weight-Loss Race
The Advocate Thursday, February 26, 2009

Two decades after the debate began on which diet is best for weight loss, a conclusion is starting to come into focus. And the winner - not low-carb, not low-fat, not high protein, but - any diet. That is, any diet that is low in calories and saturated fats and high in whole grain, fruits, and vegetables, and that an individual can stick with, is a reasonable choice for people who need to lose weight. That's the conclusion of a study published Wednesday in the New England Journal of Medicine, representing the longest, largest and most rigorous test of several popular diet strategies..." - by Chari Roan, Los Angeles Times.

The bottom line to losing weight is this: choose an eating plan that will work for you. The study did not prove, however, that every dieter succeeds. Why do you think dieters fail? Why do you think dieters don't stick with what they started? As a certified hypnotist and wellness coach for women who has specialized in weight loss since 1992, I believe I know the answer: Commitment breakdown or what is called lack of motivation!

So how do you learn to keep yourself motivated? Let me ask you a question. Don't you think if you could learn to keep yourself motivated toward your weight loss goals you would have an opportunity to succeed? And guess what the biggest obstacle to your 'waist management' problem is? YOU!

Many women frankly give up too soon. You know that it has taken you years and years to gain your weight and if you don't lose it yesterday, you quit.

Most people start the New Year off saying they are going to eat healthy and exercise and they do succeed - for a few months. Then they experience commitment breakdown and lose their motivation. If you don't believe me watch what happens at the gym after the first of the year. It is so full of people exercising you have to wait your turn to use the treadmill. Then along comes March and the gym is empty. Why? People lose their motivation.

So, how can you keep yourself motivated? Let me share a secret with you that can help you prevent commitment breakdown and keep you motivated toward your weight loss goals. It is so simple you may not think it will work. Trust me it will.

Begin listening to Positive Affirmations or Self-Hypnosis CDs for 28 days and sit back and discover how easy it is to keep yourself motivated toward your goals. Sounds simple, right?

Here's why it works. Research has proven that self-hypnosis is the quickest and easiest way to change behavior. Research has also proven that just listening to a Positive Affirmations CD for 10 minutes daily can change negative programming that you have had for years. How easy is that? Just pop a Positive Affirmations CD into your CD player and listen as you drive to work.

To help you understand, let me review how self-hypnosis works and "The Laws of The Mind." You have two minds - a conscious and subconscious. All of your good/bad habits and good/bad beliefs about yourself are stored in your subconscious mind which makes up 90% of your mind. The good news is that can be changed by listening to new positive suggestions that are recorded on the Positive Affirmations and Self-Hypnosis CDs. It also takes, on average around 21 to 28 days for the subconscious mind to break a bad habit or begin to accept new suggestions.

So right now you are trying to achieve your weight loss goals using only 10% of your mind. Wouldn't it be a lot easier to learn to use the other 90% to prevent commitment breakdown and keep yourself motivated? That sounds like a no-brainer to me.

Think of listening to your CD's like making out a grocery list. For example, if your grocery list has 30 items on it and you took your list with you, you probably won't forget anything because it's written down on your list, right? On the other hand, if you forgot your list at home you probably wouldn't remember to buy all 30 items would you? So listening to your Positive Affirmations and Self-Hypnosis CDs daily reminds you of what you are supposed to be thinking about and keeps you on track and focused on your weight loss goals.

Don't believe me? Try any Positive Affirmations or Self-Hypnosis CDs for 30 days and see what happens.

After all, you'd like to win the 'no diet' race, wouldn't you?

No Diet Weight Loss - The Alternative Way To Lose Weight

Most of us have had a bad experience of dieting. Which is not surprising as 95% of dieters on an old style weight loss diets do not lose weight. Of those that do lose weight 80% put all the weight lost back on in less than 12 months. This awful success rate demonstrates that there is a problem with diets that promise a simple or quick fix for the habits, behaviours and attitudes that have often built up of many years.

So, is there a better path to long-term, sustainable weight loss? Certainly it is not the old calorie counting or food restrictive diets. Maybe the answer is to make diet part of you daily lifestyle, much in the same way that putting on the weight in the first place was also part of your daily routine. By thinking of weight loss in this way, not the primary focus yet more a by-product of your lifestyle choices, it is possible to start to reverse those bad habits. Yet more importantly you will begin to change the habits, behaviours and attitudes that caused the weight gain - rather than just tinkering with the symptoms.

You could start with some easy changes you could make to your lifestyle to begin the no diet weight loss process. Here are three things you could do right now are:

Avoid Processed Foods. There is a simple mantra that you may wish to consider memorising, which is 'don't eat any food that your great-grandmother wouldn't recognize'. Or at least you should think twice before you do. Processed foods are saturated with fats and sugars and low on nutrients, a combination that is an ideal recipe for weight gain. As an alternative move towards fresh and whole foods instead of their processed counterparts. For example, fresh whole grain bread baked on the day of purchase would be better than the white preservative ridden alternative. Research proves that the more whole natural food you eat the healthier and more satisfying your diet will be.

Eat Well But Eat Less. The easiest and most effective no diet weight loss technique is to cut back - even by a fraction - the amount of food on your plate. As weight loss is a numbers game, consume fewer calories than you need equals weight loss. By eating just 5% less will make a dramatic difference. It is sometimes difficult to restrict calorie intake so always substitute quality for quantity. That's why 5% is an ideal number as anything greater may be noticeable and may well leave you hungry and vulnerable to impulsive eating.

Try To Relax More. There is a body of evidence that indicates that stress can cause weight gain and that one way to lose weight is to relax more. The stress process is part of the flight or fight response as stress causes your adrenal glands to release adrenaline and cortisol into your bloodstream. A side-effect of which causes the body to retain fat. In addition to this cortisol, the stress hormone, desensitizes your body to other hormones. This in turn reduces your sensitivity to leptin, the hormone that tells your brain when you are full. The other downside with stress is that we tend to turn to comfort food to make cheer ourselves up.

Should you feel that a no diet weight loss program is the way forward for you then one thing you will need is more patience than willpower. Because changing habits, behaviours and attitudes will not happen overnight. Yet making small, tiny changes will over time will give you consistent and long lasting results providing gradual weight loss making it more likely that the weight will disappear for good. So if you have been failed by old style diets, why not give it a try?

Lose 17.5 Pounds In 22 Weeks Without Exercise Without Diet

If you want to lose weight fast without exercise and without diet then this article is for you! I will show you how you can lose 17.5 pounds in 22 weeks without doing any workout and without changing your diet.

Nearly a quarter of world population is fat! Every day we are bombarded with commercials about junk food, we all have a very bad habit of eating these juice junk foods. We all know that they contain high level of fat and still we eat them.

This is why health specialists tell us to stop eating fatty foods and to do regular exercise. Eating at least 5 greens a day is highly recommended. We all know this, however we find very difficult is doing this, and people do not want to change their lifestyle!

This is why I decided to write this article, I will reveal the ultimate solution for quick and easy weight loss without changing your habits!

Scientists are always doing market research and they also noticed that people are too lazy to follow doctors advices. This lead to a thorough research and finally scientists found an ultimate solution for quick and easy weight loss - the green coffee beans extract!

What is so special about green coffee beans extract?

Good question! Nearly all of us drink coffee on daily based, however the coffee that we drink is roasted coffee and once roasted the beans loses the most important ingredient - Chlorogenic acid!

Pure green coffee beans contain high level of Chlorogenic acid extract! You require at least 800mg of pure extract in order to reduce weight.

This Chlorogenic acid attacks the fat cells almost immediately; it shrinks them in to tiny pieces and regulates your bowl movements. Green coffee beans also boost your body metabolism, the power to power more calories quickly. Which means you can eat and drink whatever you want and Chlorogenic acid will burn those fat cells and increase your metabolism rate which will result in a quick and easy weight loss.

However scientists also noticed that drinking raw green coffee beans is not possible that is why they created a capsule that contains full 800mg of pure extract.

This researched was done with several volunteers (people with weight problems) and after 22 weeks of taking this capsule they lost 17.5 pounds (on average)! All of these without changing their habits (no exercise, no diet), by simply taking capsules of pure extract they managed to lose pounds.

Although this was a small study however the results are remarkable! This really is a breakthrough in weight loss industry. From now on, no one can make an excuse regarding weight loss.

So you see now you can lose weight without doing exercise and without changing your diet. If you want to try this approach and I really recommend it, like many other scientist however you should drink at least 2 litres of water a day. Simply because when you are constantly losing weight dehydration and kick in and to avoid serious injuries make sure that you keep your body hydrated.

18 No Diet Weight Loss Tips

If you reduce your daily calorie intake by 500 calories every day, this adds up to roughly one pound of weight lost per week. Here are 18 ways to lose weight without going on a diet using these no diet weight loss tips.

1. By eating one whole orange in the morning instead of consuming orange juice, you'll eliminate about 45-50 calories.

2. If you're into omelets, try a 4 egg white omelet, yolk free, with some egg substitute liquid. And go with Canadian bacon instead of regular bacon to reduce calorie count even more.

3. Drink non-fat, low-fat or skim milk. Try to cut out sugar where you can, or if necessary, use a substitute.

4. Did you know that mustard and mayo contain roughly 100 calories per tablespoon? If you can, try a low-fat spread instead. Oh no, forget the cheese and save another 100 calories.

5. Fast-food... OK. cut it out all together if you can, if not, reduce your portions or go with chicken breast sandwiches with veggie trimmings.

6. Consume healthy snacks such as celery or carrot sticks with low-fat dip instead of chips or pastries. Even try an apple, pear, plum, mango or peach. There are lots of healthy substitutes available.

7. Discard the pop and fizzy drinks. Water, vitamin water and other healthy drinks are available to cut even more calories.

8. Consume 4-5 small meals a day in place of 3 large ones. You won't get hungry and cheat with junk. Never skip breakfast! More small meals allows you to enlarge your variety and options.

9. Are you nuts about nuts? Eat nuts, fresh and dried fruits, veggies and yogurt. It's all good for you.

10. Don't eat food items made with white flour, use whole wheat instead for breads, pastas, rice and baking. This will eliminate more of the harmful fat and calories you don't need. Furthermore, it's a proven fact that whole wheat grains reduce the risk of colon cancer by increasing fiber intake.)

11. Prepare your meat, chicken and soups in veggie broth, not butter. And butter as a topper for baked potatoes or cooked veggies can be replaced with sour cream or other non fat sauces or spreads.

12. Oh, I love my Caesar Salad, but instead of it, try a nice spinach salad without egg or bacon, but with diced chicken breast, strawberries and a small amount of goat cheese. Don't forget to top it off pumpkin or sunflower seeds though.

13. Want to save 500 more calories? Try whole wheat spaghetti with homemade sauce using lean beef and marinara sauce in place of fettuccine with Alfredo.

14. Again, eliminate the pop and even alcohol at home or when going out. I am a dedicated user of tonic water when I drink my juices.

15. When eating out, huge servings are usually the norm, especially when it comes to Chinese food, so, split the meal, or save it for tomorrow.

16. Exercising. I like to call this activity (easy at home exercising). Do one physical chore at home daily. For me, it beats going to the gym any day and it's cost free and productive. Take short walks. Walk or bicycle to nearby places instead of driving.

17. If you really want to get going, during your lunch break, take a short walk or if you can go to a golf ball driving range.

18. The ultimate fun, healthy and rewarding exercises you can do to trim and tone your body is... Swimming. So get a swim pass and start swimming.

So there you have it. A strict diet is by no means a must if you want to lose weight. There are obviously better and more enjoyable ways to shed those pounds and cut down on your daily calorie intake.

Follow the program you are on if any, get lots of sleep, drink lots of water, eat healthy foods and start a non aggressive exercise program, and you'll be rewarded with good health and a toned body by using these 18 No Diet Weight Loss Tips.

How To Get Skinny - No Diet, No Pills, No Going to the Gym

Here's how to get skinny with no diet, no pills, and no going to the gym. These are some unusual exercises and techniques you can do at home.

How to Get Skinny at Home

1. Use a hula hoop

This is great for toning your hips and belly. It's harder than you think. Aim for 5 minutes a day total... doesn't matter if you do all 5 minutes in a row or do a minute here and there for a total of 5 minutes.

2. Use a mini-trampoline

This is my favorite exercise. It's way better for weight loss than jogging on a treadmill. Go buy a mini-trampoline for about $25. Then when you're watching tv, simply get up and jump on it during the commercials. This adds up to massive amounts of cardio without much hassle.

3. Rub your belly

Yeah, rub your belly and pat your head... no, I'm joking. Seriously, if you rub your hands together for 15 seconds to create heat... then take 1 of your hands and rub small circles around your belly button, you'll burn off belly fat deposits and fat cells. The heat from your hand penetrates the skin and attacks the fatty deposits in your belly.

4. Vacuum pose

What, pose while you vacuum? Of course not. What you do is suck in your belly, leading with your belly button and not your upper belly region. Suck it into your lower back as much as possible and hold for 15-60 seconds. Doing this for a total of 5 minutes a day for 1 month will reduce your waist size by 1.75 inches... some of my clients have lost 3 inches doing this for 1 month.

If you were to follow just these 4 unusual suggestions on how to get skinny, within a few weeks you will start to get skinny.

If you're sick and tired of getting the same old boring and tired weight loss advice on how to lose 10 pounds and get skinny... you know, like "Eat more fruits and vegetables, drink 8 glasses of water, exercise more, and blah blah blah"... then you found the right person. I'll make weight loss easy and enjoyable for you... AND NOT BORING!

First, click http://www.weightlossguide4women.com to get your free 19-page report "How Spinning Around in a Circle Like a 4-year old Child will Skyrocket your Weight Loss Success". This will give you a jumpstart on how to lose 10 pounds fast.

The Best Diet Is No Diet: How to Lose Weight Without Dieting

Diets are big business. Diet food is big business. Slimming products are big business. If we are going to talk about diets, you need to understand first and foremost that there is a ton of money to be made from the people who are desperate to lose weight and searching for answers. It is this very desperation which the makers of diets, knowledge and slimming products prey on.

In fact, the term "dieting" has become so distorted it's hardly recognisable from the very first patients in the 1800's whose doctors recommended dieting for the overweight condition they found themselves in.

If you have ever thought slimming products were the answer, you were being scammed. If you think the machines shown on infomercials are the answer, you are being scammed. If you think that counting calories is the answer, you are being scammed. If you think that deciding whether to spend your daily points on a slice of chocolate cake or a piece of lean sirloin is the key to losing weight successfully, you may just spend your entire life on earth being scammed.

How about the cookie diet? The cabbage soup diet? Fat free diets? Carb-free, protein free diets? How much longer will you allow them to scam you? The key to understanding what I am trying to say, is that you must never, ever believe that a diet program is going to change you, that it's going to change the way you relate to food. And this leads to the point of the article: the overweight problem is not about counting calories, or depriving yourself. The real problem is the way you relate to food.

Diet programs never seem to ever focus on this aspect; they only ever concentrate on what goes into your mouth. But if you have every been on a diet, you know that you may lose weight initially, but more often than not, all the weight you lost climbs right back on. Why? Because the root cause has not been addressed, and after a while, you fall off the wagon, put everything you lost back on, and most dieters have said they put on even more weight afterwards. This really should start telling you something. I am inclined to believe that most diet programs are designed to keep you coming back, or they are created by the 5% of the population who actually do manage to stick to a diet and lose the weight. It is these people who are able to give the raving testimonies of diet programs and slimming products. Do you believe me yet? For your sake, I sincerely hope so.

Let's get to the root of the overweight and obesity problem: if you are overweight, your lifestyle needs to change. The way you relate to food needs to change. You are relying on food to satisfy an emptiness inside you. Change the way you think about food, add some self-discipline to the mix and your life will forever be changed. You will lose weight without thinking about it. You will lose weight without feeling deprived. You will lose weight because you will eat less and exercise, and these two components are all you need to lose weight permanently.

I do however, understand that because it's a huge change, some guidance may be necessary:

1. As I have already mentioned, losing weight permanently is NOT about what you eat. It's about what's eating you.

2. To succeed, you must focus only on root causes, never on symptoms: why are you overweight in the first place?

3. Dieting does not work: clinical weight loss research has identified 12 specific things people do that have consistently been shown to lead to safe and lasting weight loss. Yet dieting is not even on the list! Nor are diet drugs, metabolizer pills, calorie counting, exercise machines, self-starvation, lo-cal foods, or weight reduction surgery.

4. Self-deprivation ALWAYS backfires.

5. Willpower has nothing to do with weight loss! Willpower is useless as a weight loss tool because it puts you at war with your own "hidden agenda," which is a product of unconscious motivations that mere willpower can never hope to control.

6. Food - any food - must stop being a reward or used for entertainment.

7. To succeed, you MUST involve your body, mind, and spirit: we are not just body, but body, mind, and spirit. As, alien as it may be to our thinking, the spiritual aspect of our existence is actually the most potent of the three, and the true source of our power to make change. Unless all three aspects of your being are involved and aligned toward your goal, lasting weight loss will almost certainly elude you. You need to seek God your Creator to help you, as He knows the true reason you are overweight and why you have not yet succeeded in achieving your goal. Those who neglect his vital step will more than likely find themselves forever searching for the "best diet".

8. The emptiness inside that you seek to fill with food, is actually a yearning for God. If you fill the emptiness with the things of God, you won't rely so much on food.

9. Set a realistic time frame: you didn't gain the weight overnight, and you can't healthfully lose it that way, either.

10. Become self-disciplined. This is probably the hardest step that needs to be conquered - how to dish up smaller portions, and exercising regularly.

11. The body needs exercise. If you don't exercise you may not lose weight at all.

The Best Diet Plan - Is No Diet At All

"The BEST diet plan is NO diet at all". This is quite shocking for many people.

For me diet plans don't work. They are one of the most common reasons why so many people failed to lose weight. There are so many misconceptions about weight loss out there which causes many people to have the wrong idea about weight loss. To tell you the truth....weight loss does not have to be difficult. You can eat foods that are delicious and at the same time keep your stomach satisfied and help you to burn fats rather than eating the same tasteless diet foods.

Following diet plans sometimes will make you even less motivated because sometimes you just could not stand eating the same tasteless food. This is the reason why many people have such a hard time to lose weight through diets.

The best diet is going to be the one that you can stick to and not something that you are going to drop few days later and the one that includes delicious foods and you are happy with it.

Here are a few tips that will help you to develop the Best Diet Plan for you.

1) Only eat the food you enjoy

You might be wondering "That would be just great, I love to eat pizza but I just don't see how it will help me to lose weight." Yes, I agree. What I mean here is don't follow a diet that includes the foods you absolutely hate...which will make you even less motivated and hard to stick with the diet plan. Just get creative. How about making your own pizza that's healthy and great to taste too? What I am trying to say is that you don't have to eat tasteless food to lose weight. There are tons of healthy foods out there. Find the healthy foods you like and get creative with it.

2) One small step each week

You should start slowly and don't rush. You don't have to change all your habits overnight. Try to establish a healthy eating habit or eliminate one unhealthy food every week. Just be patience and you will start to see the results in just 1-2months. What you can do is you should start with the easiest one for you. One small step each week and you will lose weight in no time.

3) Do not starve yourself

Another common mistake many people still doing it until today is starving themselves in an effort to lose weight fast. Actually the contrary is true. You don't have to feel starve yourself in order to lose weight. In fact, starving yourself does not help you lose weight at all. When you starve yourself, you will cause your body to take in more calories in the next meal. This will increase your calorie intake. You must provide enough good nourishment to your body in order to see the unwanted fats finally come right off your body. Feed your stomach consistently. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are all important along with some snacks in between (healthy snacks like munching raw nuts or fresh fruits). This can keep you from getting hungry easily throughout the day.

Losing Weight With Cardio Training - How to Eat Properly When Doing Cardio to Lose Weight

When it comes to doing cardio for weight loss, proper nutrition is as important as the training itself. If you're trying to lose weight, your cardio routine is just one piece of the puzzle, you need to back your training program with the proper diet. And here is why: In order to lose weight, you need to burn off more calories than you put in. That's it. And it's no secret. This is what is known as the energy deficit in the fitness circles.

Nevertheless, if you fail to properly address your nutritional needs-especially when doing cardio on a regular basis, then you won't get far down the road. Starving yourself won't help you lose weight. But quite the opposite, you'll only invite fatigue, loss of motivation and a myriad of health problems.

As a result, here's how to synchronize your diet and cardio training in the healthiest and most proficient way possible, while making the most of your workout sessions.

Don't Shock Your System

During the early stages of training, you may be overexcited about your new weight loss resolution, so you decide to stop eating and train for more hoping to see instant results. But that's no excuse to take on more than your body can handle. Opting for this approach does quite the opposite. Your body perceives the sudden change as a state of famine and slows down the metabolism, thus you'll be burning off less calories per minute than you used to. As a result, you're not going to see the scale going down any further, you'll just add to the frustration.

Therefore, preventing the starvation response is critical for weight loss. The best eating guideline for preventing this condition is opting for 4-5 small meals per day. When doing so, you'll constantly resetting your metabolism levels, thus burning calories at a higher level. In addition, eating every 3 to 4 hours will keep your energy tanks full and well replenished for your next cardio workout, thus you'll achieve better performance and enjoy the training.

Cultivate Good Eating Habits

Cultivating good eating habits is the way to go if you want to stay slim for the long term. These eating principles are universal. And everyone should abide by them, active or not. For starters, choose fresh, nutrient-rich food instead of junk food. Make sure to throw a healthy mix of vegetables, fruits and lean protein into your diet-especially when doing cardio training. Eat 2-3 hours before the training session, and immediately afterwards to replenish your energy tanks.

In addition, make sure your body well hydrated throughout the day. Drink plenty of water both before and after your cardio sessions. Otherwise, you'll suffer from dehydration which can lead to a myriad of health problems.

Nonetheless, this is not a call to perfectionism. Perfectionism is the way to losers' land. You need to take your weight loss diet with a grain of salt and give permission to yourself to go off track. Break the rules once in awhile. Go ahead and that slice of pizza or soda drink, just don't go overboard. Schedule your eating rants once a week as a prize for your hard efforts.

Cardio Training Exercises: A Legit Guide

Interested in learning some cardio training exercises that will actually provide you with the results you desire? Then you came to the right place. No more boring cardio routines or get-skinny schemes. The only thing you're going to need is hard work and DEDICATION. Don't be afraid to push yourself past your limits because that's what it takes to see legitimate cardio training results. Alright enough of this boring speech. Let's get started.

Traditional Sprints

Sprints are a great place to start for any person just starting out with high-intensity cardio training. This is because sprints can help you build up a solid foundation for more challenging exercises in the future.

If you accept the sprinting challenge, you will see significant increases in lean muscle in the quads, glutes, hamstrings, and core. And what's the best part? Fat will literally melt of your body. All you need to do is examine a professional sprinter to understand the power of using sprints within your cardio training routine.

Make sure that you never exceed 60 yards for any sprint because this will reduce the intensity level, your running form, and could force your body into an aerobic state. Aerobic training is great if you're trying to lose fat AND muscle. The goal of high-intensity cardio is to build lean muscle AND burn fat. Muscle is your ultimate defense against future gains.

Here is sample traditional sprint routine:

60 yards sprints: x4 with 90 seconds of rest
40 yards sprints: x4 with 60 seconds of rest
20 yards sprints: x2 with 30 seconds of rest

Interval Sprints

Once the traditional sprint becomes easier, you can start using interval training. Interval sprints train both the anaerobic and aerobic energy systems in combination. This creates a lethal fat burning combination. Some people refer to this training as high-intensity interval training or "HIIT". Either way, it's a highly effective way to burn fat.

The most popular variation is to perform intervals on a track. Start by jogging or walking the straight side of the track. Once you reach the curve, sprint at 100 percent intensity around the curve. Continue this interval motion for about 4-6 laps. To increase the difficulty level, you increase the pace or the amount of laps you complete.

Once interval sprints get easier, you can start using hill sprints. Hill sprints are the most challenging sprints variation, but will accelerate your fat loss results.

Plyometrics

Plyos are one of the best cardio training techniques for decreasing fat, building lean muscle, strengthening fast twitch muscle fibers, and improving athleticism. These exercises are explosive and require a high level of anaerobic endurance. Some of the most popular plyometric exercises include side-to-side box jumps, platform jumps, depth jumps, frog leaps, and weighted explosions.

Agility Training

Agility's are very underused cardio training method, but are very effective for decreasing fat levels and increasing athleticism. These exercises are designed to improve non-linear quickness, but are also very high-intensity making them excellent for cardiovascular training.

Some of the most effective agility training techniques include ladder drills, hurdles, and cone drills.

Bodyweight Exercises

If you didn't know, bodyweight exercises are a great way to not only build strength, but also improve your cardiovascular endurance. To reap the full benefits of bodyweight exercises, simply combine about 4-6 different exercises into a circuit. Perform each exercise consecutively, take about a 90 second rest, and repeat the circuit all the way through again.

These circuits are very challenging, but are a great technique for cardio training.

I hope this article gave you a preview into what cardio training exercises you can use to actually see some legitimate results. All it's going to take is motivation, dedication, and a lot of hard work. Do you have what it takes?

I hope these cardio training exercises were helpful, and be sure to visit the Cardio Training Freak for more quality information.

Cardio And Kettlebell Workouts

Training with the Kettlebell is one of the hardest things to do, both physically and mentally. The Kettlebell is as unforgiving as it is cold and unatractive.

Every exercise you perform is difficult with your target muscle not being allowed a minute rest and no set having a part of the rep allowing the muscle to pause and increase the Oxygen intake. If you are performing Kettlebell workouts on a regular basis there is no doubt you are feeling it, your muscles are sore and your are exhausted upon completion of each session. You are eating right and getting in all the extra Protein into your diet to aid with recovery and muscle growth and you may even be taking extra supplements such as creatine, taking this all into account, why are you not hammering the cardio?

Cardio vascualr activity is essential for a healthy Heart and Lungs, studies have shown it helps fight depression, stave off Heart disease, infertility, Diabetes and whole host of other medical conditions which we niether want nor would we wish on our worst enemy. In light of all this evidence and medical advice then why are so many people slugging away with Kettlebell workouts, mind blowing Squat sessions and not performing basic low impact cardio?

I believe the truth to be that we don't find cardio exciting and truth be told it can be a little boring at times, maybe if we highlight the impact it can have to an individual's body we may just inspire people to get on with it.

Many people in your local gym will have muscular looking bodies and they look great in t-shirts or muscle vests but gt that same individual on a sun lounger with their top off and their stomach looks bigger than their chest and if anything they look a little sluggish and out of shape. The fantastic 16 inch arms they have and powerful looking Deltoids they are sporting which are usually so menacing visually are now not really visible as the spare tyre is where our eyes are guided. The sad truth of it all is that the guy knows it, they are less confident with their tops off and their actual demeanour changes, they are not the cocky guy they are n the local pub with their t-shirts tightly gripping to their upper arms.

We all know low body fat is not only good for us but looks better so why aren't we on the treadmill or in the pool and putting in the ground work required for an awesome body - which for most people is the reason they first stepped into the gym in the first place.

I think we are lazy! We tend to think we are not as we are going the gym after work whilst our colleagues are going to the pub but the truth is we know we can have an awesome Chest and Triceps sessions in 45 minutes but a decent cardio session on top of this will double our gym time and we want to be home before the football kicks off.

We need to find time for cardio, prior to work, go the gym 5 times per week with one day set aside for just cardio - whatever we can do to swing the balance back over to burning fat not just building muscle. Let's look and feel good on the beach as well as in the street.

I am a qualified fitness instructor hoping to make a difference and the author of http://www.intense-kettlebell-workouts.com/

Can Skipping Help You Lose Weight?

Recently, a young lady asked me if skipping could help you lose weight. By skipping, she meant jumping rope - not skipping a meal.

My answer to this question was an emphatic yes. I'm a huge fan of skipping. If you're not using a jump rope in your workout routines right now, then you should. Although it cannot replace regular strength workouts, skipping can be a great substitute to traditional cardio like running, biking, rowing, or using the elliptical.

HOW DOES SKIPPING HELP YOU LOSE WEIGHT?

Skipping is great for helping you lose weight fast because it shapes and tones the muscles of your arms and legs. Doing just 5 minutes of skipping will burn your shoulders and calves beyond your wildest dreams. As a result, you know those muscles are getting a terrific workout. And remember, the more muscles you have engaged, the more calories you are going to burn.

Jumping rope engages no less than the entire musculature of your lower body and most of your upper body as well.

Also, let's consider the incredible cardiovascular training effect that takes place when you skip rope. The arms are moving, the legs are propelling your body up and down, and the effect is a spike in your heart rate. It's the epitomy of a full body cardio exercise that incorporates a lot of muscle. That's why it's tough. That's why it's so good. Even if you think you're aerobically and are used to running or other forms of cardio, I challenge you to jump rope for as little as 5 minutes. You will be on the floor!

Because it gets your heart pounding, you know that you are spiking your cardiovascular system in a similar fashion to what we see with interval training. For most people, skipping can be the most intense form of cardiovascular exercise and that's a great thing because it's novel to your body. Your body isn't used to it and will therefore need to get fitter in order to do so.

Any type of exercise that leaves out of breath is good for losing weight. The reason is that for every liter of oxygen that you consume, your body burns 5 calories. For that reason, even doing a few minutes of jump rope each day can help you tremendously. With time, you obviously want to go for longer periods of time.

But let's get back to the original question as to whether jumping rope will help you lose weight around your thighs. Well, I've answered this question on "spot reducing" in other articles where I've mentioned that you cannot spot reduce. You can "spot strengthen" but that's about it. Jumping rope will help you burn calories and lose weight (assuming frequent use and high intensity) across your entire body - not just your thighs.

For women, fat from the hips and thighs is usually the last to go. Hormonally, fat is needed in those areas. It is first place to be stored and the last place to disappear. For men, the same holds true regarding stomach fat. First place to be stored, last place to disappear from.

So your goal, then, should be to burn as many calories as possible through high intensity cardio (like jumping rope) and using full body strength training workouts. The combination will help you lose weight in no time. Oh yeah, let's not forget about a healthy diet..

Here's a skipping workouts to get you started

Warm-up: light pace for 5 minutes

20 seconds fast pace : 40 seconds light pace x 10 = 10 minutes

Total Workout Time = 15 minutes

Effective Diet Solution and Weight Loss Plan

Losing weight does not need to involve dramatic numbers and rapid losses. As long as you have a good diet solution program to follow you are already halfway to the finish line. In fact, it is more healthy to gradually shed your extra weight in a longer period of time. By making smaller changes to your lifestyle that help you gradually shed pounds, you can give yourself the best chance of keeping the weight off for good. This article will share a few tips on diet recipes to help you do so.

If your favorite foods include high-fat, sugary snacks, you should try to eliminate these from your diet. However, just because you are trying to lose weight, you do not have to deprive yourself of any foods that are enjoyable. Occasionally rewarding yourself with a favorite meal or snack when you have achieved a particular goal can actually be an effective means of motivating yourself. When you have something to look forward to, it is easier to keep going.

Knowing how to properly read and understand the nutritional information on food labels makes it much easier to know exactly what you are putting into your body. Being able to interpret how many calories or how much fat is in a serving lets you do a better job of controlling your intake. The more familiar you are with basic nutritional concepts, the more successful you will be at losing weight.

Too often, people's weight loss efforts are sabotaged because they only focus on what they eat and ignore the things they drink. Sugary drinks such as soda or juice can add a lot of unnecessary calories to your diet. Try to eliminate soft drinks from your diet, and drink only fresh juices on occasion. What you should be drinking throughout the day is plenty of fresh water. Water helps cleanse your system, keeps you healthy and makes you feel fuller so you will not eat as much.

Writing down everything that you eat can be a very effective way of controlling your appetite. When you have to make a permanent record of every Twinkie, every slice of pizza and every hamburger that you eat, it will be a lot easier to resist temptation. Keeping track of what you eat also lets you figure out exactly how many calories you are taking in so that you will know how many you need to burn. The more data you have, the better.

Changing your diet is only half the equation, of course. You also need to increase the amount of physical activity in your daily routine. Reducing the number of calories you take in will not help you lose as much weight if you do not increase the number of calories that you burn. Try to find ways to incorporate more activity into your daily life, and look for forms of exercise that are enjoyable and easy to do.

If you really want to be able to maintain a healthy weight over the long term, you should focus on small steps that will encourage gradual, steady weight loss. Don't get caught up in claims that with the right product, you can lose dozens of pounds in a few weeks. Try to use the preceding tips in your daily life, and you can put yourself on a sustainable path to healthy weight loss.

Laxatives to Lose Weight

If you need to lose weight laxatives can be a great alternative, it's relatively inexpensive and works. So many have so many different opinions about losing weight by taking laxatives, I however when I was in the Army decided to use this approach. It worked for me and I will share with you how I did it. The first thing I did before PT was take a laxative, then we would exercise and then I would eat breakfast I then took another one for lunch and then with my evening meal. So here are some simple instructions that you can use and you may possible have to tweak it to get it customized to fit your lifestyle or needs. If you upon awakening take a laxative then have your normal meal, you will see the weight start to roll off. In order for the laxatives to work, you must devise a plan. For instance you should at least take a laxative before every meal, so if you eat three times a day then take a laxative before each of the meals that you take, that way everything you eat will be released.

You have to be sure to drink a lot of water because the bowel movements may be loose and cause you to lose body hydration. The key is to be able to take the laxatives in a safe way and be able to lose weight and maintain your body's elasticity so that it's not depleted of its natural water sources. Another way that you can use laxatives to lose weight is to simply take one in the morning when you wake up and in the evening before you go to bed. If you choose to do it this way then you need to make sure that you are prepared to be awakened in the nighttime. The main thing to know when taking a laxative to lose weight is to be sure that you have something in your system; no matter how little it is, just have something that can come out.

Now if you have suffered from constipation or have irregular bowels then, there will be no need to eat full meals, because you have accumulated waste still in your body that can be flushed with a laxative. Basically all that happens when you take laxative to lose weight is that the laxative flushes out what is left in your stomach, then goes through the intestines and gets the left overs. Now a laxative may not completely flush the lower intestine, but it will clean out enough to make your stomach flattened and the weight will come off.

So if you decide that this is the way that you want to take to lose weight then be sure that you have devised a plan, and are near a restroom, because this will make you not only lose weight but you will use the restroom too. In order to take laxatives in a healthy way it is important that they are taken in conjunction with supplements that restore important anti-oxidants to the body. Hoodia supplements help with improving the metabolic rate at which the body burns calories and restores important vitamins to the body in a healthy way. You can start losing weight with laxatives by following the Master Cleanse Diet Instructions

David Millers reviews laxatives and recommends that they be used with healthy anti-oxidant supplements from the Master Cleanse Diet

Best Ways To Achieve Weight Loss While Traveling

So, you are constantly on the move, traveling for work, and what's more, a vacation is round the corner! In the madness of hopping planes and destinations, you may be worried that your new year weight loss goals will go out of the window. However, weight loss while traveling is possible, if you know the obstacles and the best ways to get past them. Here are some ideas to help you lose weight on the go.

Workout in Your Room

You will be amazed to find out how many weight loss workout routines there are that can be done in the narrow space of a hotel room. You could do on-the-spot jumping and an aerobics workout for your cardio, and you could easily stretch and do a strength routine as well. Exercises such as squats, push ups, chair dips, leg raises and crunches don't require any equipment, and still give you an exhilarating workout to help achieve weight loss goals.

Walk

Walking is something you could do anywhere. It is an excellent weight loss workout, and perfect while you are traveling. Even if you are on business, you may get some time to do sightseeing. Explore the place while you walk. A walking tour is the best way to take in the new atmosphere and it will also help you burn a load of calories.

If you are out on vacation, you could book a room in a hotel that is a little way away from the city center. It will save you a chunk of money, and will also be a good excuse to get in some serious walking.

Fitness Centers

If your budget allows it, choose a hotel with a good fitness center. The reason I'm especially emphasizing on the 'good' part is because what a lot of hotels offer is a sad excuse for a fitness center. A couple of pieces of old equipment in a drab looking room becomes a fitness center. Such a place will not inspire you in the least to do a weight loss workout. Make sure you get an unbiased review of the fitness center, before choosing. Some hotels also offer complimentary passes or hefty discounts on swanky neighborhood fitness center. So, make sure you ask.

Drinking Water

People who begin with determined plans to continue with weight loss while traveling sometimes forget the essentials, such as drinking water. When you are overwhelmed with a new place, a disruption to your routine and pressure of work, it is easy to forget this basic step. However, when you don't drink enough, you start to get dehydrated, your metabolism becomes sluggish, and it becomes difficult for you to achieve your weight loss goals.

Eating Healthy Away From Home

It is not easy to eat healthy in a new place, when you are stressed, hundreds of miles away from your home, and confronting food temptations around every corner, not to mention local delicacies. It is best not to get Spartan, however. Sample local tastes and have some fun, but make sure that majority of your meals are healthy.

Avoid junk calories where they are not needed. For instance, if your only objective for the afternoon is to keep yourself full, stop by a local grocery store and pick up a healthy snack, a handful of nuts or a few pieces of fruit. A lot of restaurants also serve light (calorie-wise) meals nowadays, for people who have weight loss goals.

With these steps, there is no reason why you cannot achieve weight loss while traveling.

Chamomile Tea and Weight Loss

Do you want to be enlightened with chamomile tea and weight loss? Some people have this conception that all teas promote weight loss. Chamomile tea is one of those teas that are most preferred by many people. This is because of its aroma and taste. But like green tea, does it have a weight loss benefit?

Chamomile is one of those herbs that have strong pleasant odor. It comes from the flower of daisy species. The chamomile tea is known for its anti-bacterial, anti-irritant, and anti-inflammatory attributes.

As an herbal medicine, chamomile is known to treat skin diseases like psoriasis and eczema. It can also treat chickenpox, ulcers, skin rashes, burns, stomach flu, insomnia, anxiety attacks, and others. This herb also helps women get relieved from menstrual cramps. It is also very excellent in treating colds.

Chamomile contains calcium and magnesium. These two essential nutrients are important in the body. It also has rich content of flavonoids.

Many Herbalists believe that Chamomile can induce weight loss because it has diuretic properties and is an appetite suppressant herb. It also has cathartics effect, which means it is able to detoxify and remove waste found in the body. It also acts as a stimulant.

Chamomile aids the body for proper digestion. Having a healthy digestion helps you lose weight. This is because when your digestive system is not able to digest properly the food that you ate, you will likely feel weak, depleted, and often feels hungry. In addition, poor digestion can affect your metabolism. To address this problem, drinking chamomile tea has a bitter stimulant that helps secretory organs to respond and achieve maximum efficiency in digestive process.

Since this herb curbs your appetite, you will feel full and you will also stop thinking about food. This help you prevent from over eating. Your body is able to torch more calories too since as it is mentioned earlier the tea is a stimulant itself. This is how chamomile tea and weight loss are being associated by many herb doctors.

Is Creatine Helpful For Weight Loss?

Creatine. You've all heard the word before. But not many know what it actually is. Creatine is made up of three amino acids (amino acids are the building blocks of protein). These three amino acids are glycine, arginine, and methionine. Many use creatine as a supplement to build muscle, in the form of powder, pills, and even in a liquid form which is dispensed by an "eyedropper."

Ok, so how does creatine help in losing weight? Don't worry, I'm going to get to that, but first you must understand how it actually works. Well, how creatine works is this: When you take the creatine supplement, creatine saturates your muscle cells. This creatine that is now in your muscles, attracts water in your body, causing your muscle cells to fill up with water. In order for your muscle cells to accommodate this new amount of water within them, they have no choice but to expand. This translates to larger, stronger muscles.

But I'm a woman, I don't want big, bulky muscles! Don't worry, the only way that is going to happen is if you are taking in more than enough calories, lifting heavy to gain muscle, and taking the same amount a bodybuilder would take. Plenty of women take creatine, and are not bulky at all, rather they are toned; the way most women prefer to look.

Any who, getting back to the point, the muscles will be larger than before. Now, since bigger muscles require more calories to maintain their new size (remember, this doesn't mean huge, just larger than before), your muscles will have no choice but to rob your fat stores for the necessary calories to maintain their size. This is how creatine will help with weight loss!

Also, if you are on a diet, one of the hardest things to do is to keep your current size/definition, (ladies, remember, don't be nervous by the word size). Another reason to take creatine while dieting. Creatine will help you keep your current size, while burning fat only, rather than fat and muscle for energy to fuel your workouts.

What kind of creatine should I take? Since there are so many different types on the market, I will elaborate to help you narrow down your choices.

Creatine Monohydrate

Most commonly sold in a white powder form, very chalky in taste and texture, creatine monohydrate is the first and oldest type of creatine invented. Creatine monohydrate is generally used by people seeking gains in muscle mass (ladies, believe me, this is not the type of creatine you are looking for). The problem with creatine monohydrate is that it is known for gassy stomach problems as well as bloating. So although your muscle may get larger, it will be very difficult for you to get definition with that size, if you are like most people. Also, with creatine monohydrate, you have to go through what is known as a "loading phase," in which you must take around 4 scoops (roughly 20 grams) of it per day for your first four days on the product. After, you can take only 2 scoops or roughly 10 grams for a period of 6 weeks or so, then you must load up again and so on and so forth. This process is known as "cycling" a supplement.

Creatine ethyl ester

A newer form of creatine, creatine ethyl ester is sold in pill form (a popular brand known as "CE2"), as well as in powder form (another popular brand known as "Cell Mass"). The rage about creatine ethyl ester is that it provides all the benefits of creatine, without having to go through a loading phase, no bloating, and no stomach problems. Depending on your genetics, diet, and workout program, the effects of creatine in general will have different effects for each user.

Creatine alphaketoglutarate (Creatine AKG)

This particular creatine supplement is one that has worked the best for me personally. Creatine AKG is your traditional creatine supplement, however, it has what is called AKG attached to it. AKG is almost like a car that drives the creatine straight into your muscles, to saturate them as much as possible. This means you will be getting the most out of your creatine supplement. Also, Creatine AKG boasts zero bloating and zero stomach problems just like the creatine ethyl ester. A popular brand of Creatine AKG is known as "Anavol."

Well, I hope this article helped you make the decision to start supplementing with creatine for weight loss, and ladies, I hope after reading this, you realize that creatine is recommended for you too. Remember, for the guys, you will usually be taking the full-recommended dosage of creatine, lifting heavy, and eating big if you are seeking muscle mass. Ladies, you obviously are not going to take the full-recommended dosage, eat big, or lift heavy, unless you are a bodybuilder of course.

Yours in health,

Easy Way to Lose Weight With Vitamin B6 Supplement - Natural Weight Loss New Discovery

Are you motivated to lose weight? Sure, you are! You are aware of the dangerous health consequences of being overweight? But, as many other people, your battle to lose weight doesn't have any success! You have probably tried so many different kinds of pills and diets without any good result! You would like to know if a new scientific discovery about how to lose weight will be able to help you. You are right; scientists have discovered a new function of the vitamin B6 linked with weight loss. Let's see how it works and how can you benefit from it.

Vitamin B Roles

We know 8 vitamins B: B1 (thiamine), B2 (riboflavin), B3 (niacin), B5 (pantothenic acid), B6 (Pyridoxine, pyridoxal and pyridoxamine), B7 (biotin), B9 (folic acid) and B12 (cobalamins). They are all chemically distinct although they are part of the same group of vitamins. However, all of them play a vital role to stimulate your body's metabolism, to improve your mood and energy, to drop off the effects of stress and to reduce your triglyceride levels. Have you noticed that all these effects contribute to lose weight? Nevertheless, according to new scientific investigations, the B6 vitamin would be a molecule much more active in weight loss. How then?

Vitamin B6 and its Newly Discovered Function

A recent study in United States has demonstrated that an insufficient intake of vitamins B6 would be responsible of a neurotransmitters production disorder. Neurotransmitters such as dopamine, serotonin and tryptophan play an important role in the feeling of well-being which prevents someone from eating too much sweet food and eating at any time. Additionally, vitamin B6 is involved in many aspects of metabolism and helps to 'burn' Body's fats.

Brazil Researchers Study

Researchers in Brazil discovered that patients had lost an average of 3.3 pounds for every milligram of Vitamin B6 added in their diet.

Food Sources of Vitamin B6

Eat spinach, bell peppers, broccoli, Brussels sprouts, cauliflower, cabbage, asparagus, turnip greens, celery, kale, garlic, tuna and banana.

Conclusion

There are evidences that the vitamin B6 can help to get weight loss. But to tell the truth, you cannot expect to lose a lot of weight just eating the kind of food enumerated before. I suggest you to eat a little more food which contain a lot of vitamins B6 and follow a professional diet program.

Vitamin B12 and Weight Loss

Cobalamin or as it is better known, is one of the vital nutrients our bodies need in order to work properly. It is necessary to perform many of the body's more important tasks, including the making of DNA during cell division and the healthy formation of red blood cells.

B12 is known as the "energy vitamin" because it gives a real energy boost. It is used to remedy fatigue and it speeds up the metabolism. Red blood cells are also responsible for producing hemoglobin, the part of the blood that takes oxygen from the lungs and transports it to all the different parts of the body.

It has many functions and uses but does it help people lose weight?

What is the link between Vitamin B12 and weight loss?

Vitamin B12 Injections and Weight Loss

Some people might go to a clinic to get shots. These shots are administered directly into the muscle, allowing for better absorption. People who get these shots mainly suffer from chronic fatigue syndrome or a deficiency. They might also claim that taking these shots help them to lose weight.

However, injections by themselves do not directly induce weight loss, nor are they intended to. So why do people who get them lose weight?

There are many factors to take into consideration.

B12 causes the metabolism to speed up, which in turn increases weight loss. People who go to get injections tend to be more conscious of their health and are already on a vegetarian, or other weight loss diet.

Shots give a tremendous boost of energy. This generally helps people to maintain their diets, and motivates them to exercise and increase physical activity. Vitamin B12 also helps to fight stress and depression, symptoms which are sometimes associated with weight gain.

While the shots can be a great benefit to some, particularly those with a B12 deficiency, there can be some negative side effects when taken excessively or along with certain other substances. There is also a risk for those who have certain pre-existing conditions. It's important to consult a physician before undergoing injections.

Vitamin B12 Deficiency

Deficiencies can become a serious health threat. The body can normally stock up many years supply of vitamin B12, so it more often materializes when the body is unable to properly absorb vitamin B12 because of illness or old age. Incidentally, deficiencies can cause weight loss, among other symptoms. Extreme cases can even result in permanent nerve damage if left untreated.

A person diagnosed with a B12 deficiency will need to take supplements. These are most often taken as capsules or via intramuscular injections. Although vitamin B12 does not directly cause weight loss, it is still an essential nutrient that is needed by the body. It is important to get a sufficient amount of it and doing so will ensure better health, all around.

Vitamin B12 and Dieting

When undergoing any new weight loss program it is important to make sure that the diet is well balanced and contains all of the essential nutrients. This of course includes vitamin B12 and other essential nutrients.

Food sources rich in B12

Meat, Poultry, Milk and other dairy products, Eggs, and Fish

Since the only reliable source of vitamin B12 are from animals those practicing a vegetarian or vegan diet will have to get theirs from supplements. If a person doesn't get enough they may develop a deficiency.

I tried everything to lose weight including vitamin b12 and never had much luck until I discovered this simple weight loss system and I was able to lose over 42 pounds you can learn more by visiting Healthy Weight Loss Project
